Graphed is a hobby site that charts the world one country at a time, looking for the facts that make you say "wait, what?"

We start with New Zealand, then Australia, then onwards. Each story is one big visual, a headline that states the surprise, a short explanation, and a source. We are not statisticians. We just get unreasonably excited about a good axis.

Every number comes from a named source. Where the real data is not in yet, the chart says so plainly, because pretending would be weirder than the facts. See Sources and methodology for how we work.
